About the opportunity We are looking for an effective and proven leader to drive this business‑critical division. Reporting to the General Manager Fertiliser, your responsibilities will include: Identify, develop and successfully implement strategies that will improve the specialty fertiliser business performance Negotiate profitable and improved trading arrangements with key suppliers Develop market intelligence and insights for internal stakeholders Manage opportunities in the proprietary segment for specialty fertiliser Manage risk in the global supply chain for proprietary brand and align to strategy Ensure data files are correctly maintained including pricing, rebates and margins Identify, develop and successfully implement strategies that will work towards continuous improvement Manage risk associated with domestic & international commodity markets What you will bring Strong commercial acumen and risk‑management mindset Experience and understanding of the specialty fertiliser market from sourcing through to field application Proven inventory management Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Well‑developed strategic and analytical skills Strong influencing skills Provide the highest level of customer service to clients at all touch points Tertiary qualifications in Ag Business or similar are desirable but not mandatory Why work for us A competitive remuneration package, access to incentive programs, company vehicle, purchased leave scheme benefits, an additional day of leave, Nutrien Day, gender‑neutral parental leave policy and a supportive and engaging environment that will support personal / professional development.
