Casual Occupational Hygienist & Land Contamination Consultant Getex is a consultancy specialising in hazardous materials, contaminated land and occupational hygiene. We have a strong industry reputation and deliver high‑quality, practical solutions to clients across the manufacturing, construction, investment and government sectors. Due to continued growth and ongoing demand from our valued clients, we are looking for a Casual Occupational Hygienist & Land Contamination Consultant with a minimum of 1 year of industry experience to join our team. About the Role In this flexible casual position, you will support the delivery of occupational hygiene and land contamination services across a range of projects. You will be involved in: Site inspections, monitoring and sampling Hazardous materials surveys Contaminated land assessments and soil/groundwater sampling Airborne contaminant and occupational exposure monitoring Data interpretation and technical reporting Providing professional and practical advice to clients This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to expand your skills within a supportive small team. Qualifications Essential: Tertiary qualification in occupational hygiene, WHS, environmental science, environmental/chemical engineering, chemistry, geology or a related field 1+ year professional experience in occupational hygiene, contaminated land, or a related technical services field Experience in either occupational hygiene or land contamination is sufficient for this role Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle for business use (km reimbursement provided) Australian citizenship or permanent residency status is required We Value Integrity, Flexibility and Quality.
