Clinical Nurse Specialist – Infection Prevention & Control Join to apply for the Clinical Nurse Specialist – Infection Prevention & Control role at WA Country Health Service . As a Clinical Nurse Specialist , you will lead the coordination and delivery of an effective regional IPC program, ensuring current policies and procedures are implemented across all services. This pivotal role draws on your advanced clinical knowledge and leadership skills to maintain high standards of infection prevention, provide expert guidance to staff and support safe, quality care throughout the region. The location of this position is negotiable within the Wheatbelt region; however, regional travel including overnight stays will be required. About The OPPORTUNITY This role is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the WACHS Wheatbelt Infection Prevention and Control Program. It provides a clinical resource/advisory service for IPC to all Health Services within WACHS Wheatbelt and assists all Health Services to implement the relevant IPC requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS).
