We are seeking a warm, proactive, and organised Assistant Community Manager to join our team and help deliver exceptional resident experiences every day. As our Assistant Community Manager, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating the daily operations of the community — working closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth, consistent service delivery across reception, concierge, housekeeping, maintenance, and the restaurant. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused leadership role where no two days are the same. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the Community Manager with the daily operations of a vibrant, hospitality‑led community Providing friendly, professional service to residents, families, and visitors Coordinating activities across reception, concierge, maintenance, housekeeping, and restaurant teams Handling resident enquiries, feedback, and communication with warmth, clarity, and confidence Assisting with resident move‑ins, orientation, and ongoing lifestyle engagement Facilitating resident exit processes in a compassionate, respectful manner Ensuring the community consistently presents to Odyssey’s “open house” standard Supporting compliance, WHS, fire safety, and quality systems Helping the community run smoothly and stepping up when the Community Manager is away What You’ll Bring A caring, professional approach and genuine respect for older adults Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills Previous experience in customer service, retirement living, hospitality, administration, or community operations Ability to lead, support, and guide staff at the frontline Clear communication skills and confidence in resolving issues Why Join Odyssey?
