Our services include consultation, diagnostic reviews, care team coordination, behavior support, and training. Role Description This full-time hybrid role, based in Melbourne, VIC, allows flexibility with some work-from-home opportunities. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will conduct assessments, develop, implement, and review tailored behaviour support plans, and provide ongoing advice and consultation to clients and care teams in forensic settings. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders, offering expert guidance to achieve positive outcomes for individuals with complex needs while promoting psychological safety and well-being. Qualifications Strong skills in behavior support and change, including the development, implementation, and review of behavior support plans. Proficiency in case consultations, care team coordination, and providing diagnostic reviews for individuals with complex psychosocial or cognitive disabilities. Experience in delivering training, developing policies/frameworks, and supporting organisational psychological safety initiatives. Effective communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills to foster collaborative and trust-based relationships. Qualifications in psychology, social work, or another allied health field; registration with a relevant professional body is advantageous. Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and familiarity with the principles of trauma-informed care.
