Senior Exhibition Builder

We are a, high-performing exhibition design & build team looking for an experienced Senior Exhibition Builder to lead our new in-house workshop. This is a key role for someone who wants ownership, autonomy, and the chance to build systems properly from the ground up. What You’ll Be Doing Lead all workshop fabrication and construction of custom exhibition stands Interpret detailed build plans and technical drawings with accuracy Manage materials, stock, prep, and freight requirements Oversee all onsite builds and dismantles during exhibitions Coordinate small teams, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are met Drive quality control, safety standards, and workshop organisation Problem-solve calmly under pressure and find solutions fast Liaise with designers, PMs, and suppliers for seamless delivery Build smart, efficient systems as the workshop grows Who We’re Looking For You must have solid exhibition industry experience (custom builds, install/dismantle, set walls, timber fabrication, show-site operations) Senior-level builder with strong workshop and onsite leadership Reliable, steady, and calm — especially under tight turnaround timelines Able to run a workshop day-to-day without micromanagement Highly skilled with hand tools, machinery, and construction methods Excellent communicator who takes pride in workmanship Strong problem-solving skills — you know how to fix almost anything onsite Comfortable leading onsite crews.
