Registered Psychologist & Director of Divergent Psychology Do you want to work with an affirming team who ‘gets’ ND and chronic illness? We are currently seeking a psychologist to join our team as a contractor Details of role: Contractor arrangement Based in Fremantle, WA with hybrid option >8 billable hours per standard week Take home pay of $108 - $156/ hr plus super (where relevant) Providing neuro-affirming individual therapy to children, teens and/ or adults Providing neuro-affirming autism, ADHD and combined assessments to children and teens (optional) Divergent Psychology is a small psychology practice (and it will always stay that way, to avoid our team feeling ‘peopled-out’). We pride ourselves in providing genuinely neurodiversity affirming practice, LGBTIQA+ affirming practice, and trauma informed practice - to everyone. We are seeking someone to join our team who already embraces these concepts and is looking to find their home in a like-minded team. We welcome 'applications' from psychologists with lived experience of neurodivergence, chronic illness and/ or other types of disability - and allies. Required qualifications, experience and skills: Current registration as a psychologist with AHPRA 2+ yrs experience working as a (registered) psychologist with at least some clients who are autistic and/ or ADHD Knowledgeable about neurodiversity affirming practice and trauma informed practice Bonus point experience and skills: Experience working as an independent contractor, providing psychological services Familiarity with NDIS Familiarity with Medicare system for psychological supports Familiarity working with multidisciplinary teams Trained in providing Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics (CBIT) Knowledgeable about LGBTIQA+ affirming practice Knowledgeable about PDA Knowledgeable about chronic illness e.g. chronic migraine, POTS, hEDS, MCAS Knowledgeable about FND Knowledgeable about physical disabilities Experience in working with interpreters (e.g. Auslan interpreters) Seniority level Entry level Employment type Contract Job function Health Care Provider Mental Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
