We have 3 Machine Operators roles available: 2 x Vertical Form Fill Sealer (VFFS) Operators $30.46 - $35.87 - To be considered for this position, you MUST HAVE experience operating a VFFS 1 x Triblock Automatic Bottling Line Operator $26.95 - $30.46 - To be considered for this role, you MUST have similar experience Morning shift, Monday to Friday. About the VFFS Role Understand how to operate the various components of the VFFS machine, including the film unwinder, forming collar, etc. Control systems: manage machine settings, run production, and make format changes. Perform routine maintenance to keep the machine running efficiently. This includes tasks like film splicing, setting correct tension, and cleaning. Diagnose and resolve common problems related to film positioning, sealing integrity, or filling accuracy. Monitor the output to ensure correct fill weights and seal quality, making adjustments as needed. Understand how different product characteristics (e.g. syrups, toppings, bakery fillings) affect machine performance and how to handle various film types. Optimize the machine's settings and processes to meet production targets and minimize waste, while also ensuring the final package meets quality standards. About the Triblock/Bottling Role Set up, operate, and monitor the Triblock bottling line, including the rinser, filler, and capper units. Complete changeovers for different bottle sizes, caps, and product types. Conduct start‑up, shut‑down, and CIP as required. Perform in‑process quality checks on fill levels, torque, seals, and packaging appearance. Monitor line performance, identify and resolve faults or stoppages quickly to minimise downtime. Work closely with maintenance and quality teams to ensure optimal machine performance and product quality. Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and batch documentation. Adhere to safety, hygiene, and GMP standards throughout all production activities. About You We’re looking for someone who has strong mechanical aptitude and understands lean manufacturing. You will need to have: Experience in a food manufacturing environment. Strong problem‑solving and mechanical skills. A focus on safety, GMP and quality. The ability to work well in a team and in a fast‑paced environment.
