Administration Officer, Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety – Brisbane QLD About Office of the Senior Executive Director The office of the Senior Executive Director provides executive support to the Senior Executive Director, Investment and Commissioning, including oversight of the directorate budget, management of correspondence, finance and human recourse. The team also provides secretariat support for the Investment and Commissioning governance structure. Your contribution The role of Administration Officer provides effective and efficient support in areas of administration, personnel, finance, information, and records management. Your responsibilities As a Administration Officer you will: Implement, maintain and review financial and administrative policies and procedures, including, travel and accommodation arrangements and building, vehicle and plant and equipment maintenance to facilitate the effective functioning of the Directorate. Administer financial processes including procurement, ordering, payments of accounts, petty cash, monthly monitoring and reconciliation in accordance with current legislative and departmental accounting practices. Provide a high standard of skills in a range of software packages and databases in the administration of services provided by the Directorate/s. As required, investigate financial enquiries ensuring timely, accurate solutions are reached. Contribute to effective team work by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of other team members and working collaboratively to deliver services to the Directorate/s. Assist in the provision of human resource management by undertaking activities such as maintaining establishment documentation, providing basic HR advice and applying legislation. Liaise with Departmental officers and other Government and non Government organisations as necessary. Assist in the delivery and coordination of other business management functions and projects as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
