We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Abnormal Load Planner/Transport Coordinator to join a fast-paced logistics team in the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role is based in Dandenong and requires expertise in managing transportation operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery. The Abnormal Load Planner/Transport Coordinator will oversee and manage daily transport operations within the logistics department, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong organisational skills and a focus on maintaining service quality and compliance. Description Coordinate and oversee daily transport operations to ensure efficient delivery schedules. Monitor and manage transport routes, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and transport activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all transport operations. Assist in developing and implementing strategies for improving transportation efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to align transport operations with overall business goals. Provide regular updates to management on transport performance and challenges. Profile A successful Abnormal Load Planner/Transport Coordinator should have: Previous experience in logistics or transport coordination within the industrial and manufacturing industry. Experience managing complex and abnormal load shapes and sizes. Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in transport management systems and relevant software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in transport operations. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
