Check out this short summary of the career of one of our excellent Systems & Inventory Specialists and Team Member of the Year, Jesna What you’ll do The performance of this role directly influences the cost of the transport task so is required to deliver the highest levels of fleet utilisation and cost efficiency to Woolworths. Enable the supply chain between the DC; Transport and Stores to function Provide guidance to carrier partners of routes/loads required to be serviced on the day Perform daily transport planning activities in our Transport Management System (TMS) Work to strict service level agreement to ensure no impact to DCs and stores Plan all orders Types, IWT’s, 3PL (Lineage) Regional customers, and Primary Connect load tenders Communicate all planning changes to the DC and 3PL (Lineage) Investigate any causes and such associated impacts to safety, cost or service performances What you’ll bring Exceptional time management skills and be able to work to strict service level agreement to ensure no impact to DCs and stores Understanding of transport allocation and/or fleet controlling including load planning Excellent systems and computer skills, with the ability to adapt to new system Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment Effective problem solving skills & a high level of customer service Excellent knowledge of the metropolitan area Have exposure to the Transport & Logistics industry (preferred) Endless possibilities with Woolworths Group We’re a proud part of the Woolworths Group – 200,000+ bright minds, passionate hearts and unique perspectives working together connected by a shared Purpose – ‘to create better experiences together for a better tomorrow.’ Here you’ll be supported and empowered to explore new ideas, make brave commitments and innovate better ways to meet the food and everyday needs of more than 24 million customers every week.
