At Belgian Gardens WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods, we are seeking an experienced Aged Care Customer Care Pharmacist to join our thriving team in Townsville, Queensland. Flexible availabilities of full-time or part-time roles, you will leverage your expertise in pharmacy and aged care to provide exceptional patient‑centred care to our elderly clients. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and wellbeing of our ageing community. What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive medication reviews and assessments for aged care residents Day to day patients counselling and enhance patient outcomes. Compounding and extemporaneous preparations, compounding training provided. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including GPs and nurses, to optimise medication management and patient outcomes Providing medication education and counselling to aged care clients and their families Ensuring compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines Delivering expert‑level pharmaceutical advice and support to our aged care facilities Participating in the development and implementation of pharmacy‑led aged care initiatives Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date patient records and documentation What we're looking for Registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in geriatric pharmacotherapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, clients, and their families Demonstrated commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and Microsoft Office applications Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of the elderly What we offer At Belgian Gardens WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods, we are dedicated to supporting our employees' professional and personal growth.
