Then South Metropolitan Health Service is the perfect place to start Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service as well as 225 inpatient beds at Fremantle Hospital. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth. Position Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive organisation-wide quality improvement initiatives across Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital, with a strong focus on enhancing patient experience and achieving key quality and safety performance indicators aligned with our strategic objectives. This pivotal role will embed safety and quality principles across both sites within the clinical areas across Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG), working collaboratively with the Patient Safety and Quality Manager and directorates to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that elevate professional practice. You will identify and manage risks, ensure timely and consistent quality activities and audits across services, and guide the organisation aligning with NSQHS Standards.
