First Aid, Weighbridge & Security Officer Location: Port Kembla, NSW Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Are you confident, calm under pressure, and enjoy being the first point of contact? Chandler Macleod is seeking a First Aid, Weighbridge & Security Officer for a leading industrial client based in Port Kembla. This is an onsite, permanent role offering stability and variety in a dynamic environment. What’s on Offer? Shifts: Day: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM Weekly rotation (one week day, one week afternoon) Paid overtime and shift allowance Monday to Friday roster About the Role You’ll be the first point of contact for truck drivers, contractors, and visitors at the site gate. Your responsibilities include: First Aid & Emergency Response: Provide first aid, coordinate emergencies, and maintain medical records. Weighbridge Operations: Log and weigh incoming/outgoing vehicles, induct drivers, and ensure accurate reporting. Security Duties: Monitor site access, conduct inductions, patrol premises, and manage conflict resolution. Compliance & Safety: Maintain WHS standards, update records, and support return-to-work processes. This role requires someone personable, confident, and able to stay calm during emergencies or high-pressure situations. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: Occupational First Aid Certificate Security Licence 1AC (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience in emergency response or security is highly regarded Why Join?
