The team focuses on recovery and function to get clients back to work and back to life, regardless of age, stage, or situation. Our personal injury division provides services through federal and state-based Workers' Compensations, Motor Accident Schemes and Life Insurance. This is a unique opportunity: Acumen is the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel. Your work will be meaningful and purposeful as part of a team that helps our military stay fully fit and ready to defend Australia. Responsibilities Take a holistic care approach within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing. Perform a variety of assessments based on your area of clinical expertise, such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, or activities of daily living assessments. Collaborate with stakeholders including the employee, medical specialists, and other treatment providers. Support our Veterans and current ADF members by working across ADF and DVA portfolios. Location and structure This is a hybrid role with work across local ADF bases. Location may vary between the Acumen office, client site (Sydney ADF Bases) and work-from-home options. Qualifications Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW. Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work. Clinical reasoning and the ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals. Passion to help people rehabilitate. Occupational Rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded.
