Research Associate in Criminology – Flinders University Join the College of Business, Government and Law at Flinders University to conduct cutting‑edge research aimed at transforming offender rehabilitation through a strengths‑based desistance approach across NSW public prisons. Base Pay A$88,842 – A$107,666 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of the Industry Laureate research program, including data collection, analysis, literature review, and reporting. Collaborate with the research team, postgraduate students, industry partners and the Corrective Services NSW to ensure ethical, high‑quality and impactful research outcomes. Disseminate research findings through publications, reports and presentations, and build national and international collaborations that enhance the project’s reach. Qualifications Completion or near completion of a PhD in Criminology or a closely related field. Emerging research experience demonstrated by publications and/or conference presentations. Proven experience in quantitative research methods, including design, analysis and data synthesis. About the Position As an emerging academic, you will work closely with justice professionals, correctional agencies and academic colleagues to generate meaningful change through research. You will bring strong critical thinking, excellent interpersonal abilities and a demonstrated capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
