Overview Communications and Stakeholder Manager role at Independence Australia Group. Lead strategic communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives, ensuring our message is clear, consistent, and impactful both internally and externally. What you’ll do Strategic Communications: Lead the development of communication strategies that protect and enhance our brand and reputation. Stakeholder & Government Engagement: Develop and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders and government bodies. Internal Communications: Craft compelling internal messaging to inform, align, and inspire our teams. Media & PR: Be our media liaison and spokesperson. Shape our narrative across media platforms and ensure consistent and positive brand visibility. Crisis Communications: Take charge during critical incidents with timely and thoughtful communication to maintain trust and credibility. Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of Communications Specialists, while contributing to the Brand, Marketing & Communications function. About you 5+ years’ experience in senior communication roles Proven success in strategic communications, public/media relations, and stakeholder engagement Skilled in crisis communication and reputation management Strong understanding of government processes and advocacy strategies Inclusive communication style with the ability to connect across diverse audiences Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Experience in the human services sector is desirable Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or similar Why work with us Benefits Access salary packaging benefits to increase your take home pay by reducing your taxable income.
