We have opportunities in both our Restaurant and Function/Event Kitchen. THE BRAND Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 15 fabulous venues across Sydney and Melbourne. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service. Duties & Responsibilities Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes Ability to contribute to menu planning Immaculate presentation and grooming Ability to handle large service numbers Exceptional customer care and service skills and knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS Excellent supportive and leadership skill set Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed Should be able to control and manage daily kitchen functions Key Qualities A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position Be flexible with working hours A team spirit, bright and positive demeanour Why Join Us Lunch on us while on shift Discount on Coffee while on shift Discounts from our suppliers such as Vittoria Coffee Career Progression Internal and external training opportunities The team at Catering HQ work hard to create a safe and inclusive environment for all, and most importantly, we’re all about creating a more sociable future – for our customers and for each other.
