As demand continues to increase, we are now seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. Location: 71 Kremzow Rd, Brendale QLD 4500 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $78,000 – $82,000 + Superannuation Vacancies: 1 Position Available The Opportunity: This hands‑on role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles. You’ll use both manual and computer‑based systems to perform high‑standard mechanical work and contribute to the smooth operation of our busy workshop. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using manual and electronic testing tools. Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicle types. Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, and cooling systems. Conduct tuning, adjustments, and road tests to confirm repair quality and vehicle safety. Perform wheel alignments, tyre fittings, balancing, and brake system servicing as needed. Inspect engine functionality, mechanical parts, and vehicle systems to ensure performance and compliance. Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and parts documentation. Advise customers on repair needs, timelines, costs, and maintenance recommendations. Ensure the workshop is kept clean, safe, and compliant with WHS standards. Collaborate with other mechanics and apprentices to support workflow and meet service deadlines. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification). Minimum 3 years’ post‑qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic. Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding capabilities using modern scan tools. Solid understanding of petrol and diesel engine systems, electronic systems, and automotive components. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced workshop environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high‑quality workmanship. Good communication skills and a customer‑first approach.
