Requirements for this role Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $88,920 per year Role: Management Accountant The incumbent will be responsible for preparing Hollowcore’s management reports, statutory reporting, and taxation requirements, ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and value-added information to support effective decision making. He/She will serve as a business partner to all other divisions of the company. Principal Accountabilities Prepare monthly management reports, including the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow Statement, and all relevant reporting activities. Conduct variance analysis, including period-on-period and actual-to-budget comparisons. Perform daily sales reconciliation, ensuring accurate reconciliation of daily and monthly sales. Complete bank reconciliations for all bank accounts against the accounting software. Prepare tax returns, including monthly payroll tax returns and Business Activity Statements; reconcile required balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting work papers. Maintain and update standard costs for all inventory items within the accounting software. Assist cross-functional stakeholders in the preparation of the annual budget. Provide financial analysis for cost‑saving initiatives, sales and marketing proposals, and business case preparation to determine financial viability. Act as a backup resource for payroll and vendor payments, as well as daily cash, treasury, and banking activities. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA (or a similar discipline). Other Key Criteria High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge and practical experience in applying accounting concepts. Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines. Strong time management, organisational, and planning capabilities. Experience with ATO deliverables and relevant tax computations. Willingness to work outside normal business hours when required to meet strict deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
