We want to hear from you About Us Supported Independent Living Cooperative (SILC) is a not-for-profit cooperative and NDIS registered provider of Supported Independent Living (SIL) services. We believe people with disabilities, and their families, are best positioned to make decisions about where they live, who they live with, and who supports them. We assist families to establish their own cooperatives that operate family-governed homes for their loved ones. This model creates safe, supportive, and empowering environments where residents remain happy, healthy, and connected to their family, friends, and community. As SILC continues to grow, so do our operational needs. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our SIL homes. Ideally, you will have experience as an Operations Manager, Senior House Manager, or Practice Leader, within the disability sector, particularly in homes with complex support needs, or experience managing multiple homes or large teams. Your Story With Us In this role, you will: Support House Managers in delivering best-practice services and leading their teams. Confidently navigate difficult conversations, including performance management, to ensure the best outcomes for residents. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to manage incidents, risks, and complex situations. Assist House Managers and head office with documentation, compliance, and auditing aligned to NDIS Practice Standards. Build and maintain meaningful relationships with families, cooperatives, House Managers, support workers, and peers—balancing policy requirements with the unique nature of each home. Contribute to internal projects, policy updates, and organisational improvements. Bring commercial awareness to support budgeting, financial coordination, and cooperative operations. Assist in establishing and onboarding new cooperatives as the organisation expands.
