Together we’ll show you it’s possible to make an impact, and to never underestimate what you’re capable of achieving.TheTechnical Product Owner within Sales and Distribution will work with Heads-Of Distribution, Corporate Sales, Mid-Market Sales, Sales Ops, Sales Performance and Regional Sales Managers, driving investment and large operational spend, spanning large variety of projects, applications, suppliers and a delivery team of contractors.This role is accountable for aligning product delivery plans to enable the business to achieve their objectives & strategic outcomes – from concept through to operations. They guide and mentor cross-functional squads and vendors to ensure features are delivered to commitments, and the products meet their service levels and are secure and resilient by design.The Technical Product Owner is true business partner and Senior IT leader with program manager skills and service delivery mindset, responsible for managing a team onshore and a larger team virtually, driving continuous improvement and innovation. You will manage the quality of service and operational stability, including IT risk and compliance management, delivering service improvements and providing input to service management strategies.You’ll HaveAt least 7 - 10 years’ delivery experience as a senior IT business partner and IT manager of a portfolio of business-facing applications. Expert stakeholder management and influencing skills across both business and technical functions Strong people leadership skills and experience, embedding a culture of continuous improvement Ability to provide technical and commercial thought leadership across plan, build and run, ability to manage a complex and continuously evolving landscape Experience managing a wide-ranging set of stakeholders, applications, projects and suppliers Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, or lead the solving of strategic problems of high complexity on a large scale Project / Programme management experience working across agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies Solid experience in operational service management and service improvement Experience managing substantial project and BAU budgets Experience managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and running RFPs Able to work cross-functionally and align business unit processes to enterprise business processes Strong commercial and business acumen Preferably airline technology experience Why Qantas?
