We work with clients such as Webjet, Petbarn, Salmat & more Our projects can have 2 to 12 month lifespans, and are across a broad range of industries from B2B to B2C (travel, real estate, education, medical, builders, fashion, advertising, etc). We develop end to end solutions building mobile applications & bespoke solutions platforms using cutting-edge technologies. About the role As a product owner you will be responsible for project managing all stages in the life cycle of each client solution/product. You will be supported by the Senior Product Owner, General Manager and Tech leads. We are on the hunt for someone who cares deeply about what they do and wants to make an impact in everything we build. Responsibilities include: Define, lead and contribute to the product vision and strategy Collaborate with the Tech lead & Engineers to ensure solution is achievable and realistic As a key liaison between our engineering team and clients, you will play a pivotal role in understanding client requirements, translating them into actionable tasks for the development team, and ensuring successful delivery of products. Managing release process, stakeholder communications and conducting regular retrospectives for continuous improvement Managing backlog priorities according to the roadmap while ensuring clear understanding of requirements within the team. Planning sprints with team input and updating roadmap based on sprint progress, collaborating on changes with stakeholders. Lead and facilitate client meetings, including kickoff meetings, sprint reviews, and product demos Manage client expectations, controlling the scope and ensuring success while staying within budget / sprint planning Continuously communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress, solicit feedback, and address any concerns or issues Proactively identify opportunities for product improvements and enhancements based on client feedback and market research Prioritise and manage multiple clients, products and tasks - organising and shifting priorities as required Ideally you’ll have: Proven experience working as a Product Owner / Project Manager or similar role, preferably in a client-facing capacity Experience delivering quality web and/or mobile applications Understanding of digital project lifecycle with demonstrated proficiency in understanding and managing development pipeline milestones Strong project management skills and organisational abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence both internal teams and external clients Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong team player with ability to work autonomously in a very collaborative environment Excellent Client Management Skills (communication and transparency is paramount) Passion for your work and drive to continuously learn and grow Why you’ll enjoy working with us: Work closely with Australia’s leading brands and up-and-coming startups Hybrid work model with a combination of in-office and work from home days Free snacks provided in office Supportive, inclusive and diverse work environment Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Product Management and Marketing Industries Technology, Information and Internet Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Rocket Lab Pty Ltd by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Product Owner” roles.
