Job Summary Tugun Compounding Pharmacy is located at the southern end of the Gold Coast. Our business is comprised of multiple compounding laboratory facilities. We provide tailor‑made & personalised medication specifically to meet patients’ requirements, including dosage form, dose amount, flavour, and ingredients. As a second‑generation compounding pharmacy, we prioritise quality & service and facilitate an open, collaborative approach between practitioner, pharmacy, and patient. Position We are currently seeking an energetic Laboratory Technician whose focus is quality, accuracy, team spirit & best practice to fill this role in a full‑time capacity. The successful applicant will be required to be available to work 38 hours per week primarily between 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday. Primary Responsibilities Compounding of a wide and diverse range of medications and dosage forms in our laboratories in multiple departments, including weighing, mixing, blending etc. Using computerised programs such as Minfos, RxOne, Pk, Google Drive, Microsoft Suite. Performing general laboratory responsibilities across multiple departments. Assistance with stock control and stock maintenance. Requirements Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to an ever‑changing industry. Demonstrate high levels of data entry accuracy and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines. Demonstrate high energy and enthusiasm to consistently exceed customer expectations with a positive, can‑do, problem‑solving attitude. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting. Demonstrate excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to organise, prioritise, and work autonomously. Respect the privacy rights of the customer and business and handle all matters with discretion and confidentiality. Proven proficiency in using various computer programs. Well presented, naturally motivated, reliable, and looking for stability. Additional Information We are located near the beach on the sunny Gold Coast, Queensland and are offering a Monday to Friday roster to the right person who fits our strict criteria.
