Scale a thriving, values‑led primary care group. About Our Group We are a well‑regarded, multi‑site general practice group in Melbourne’s Bayside and Eastern suburbs. We care for complex patients, partner closely with specialists and allied health, and invest in innovation to make care safer, simpler, and more human. The Role As COO, you’ll be the CEO’s right hand—owning end‑to‑end operations across clinics, driving performance, and delivering our strategy. You’ll scale systems, people, and processes that support outstanding care, sustainable growth, and exceptional clinician and patient experience. Each business has a Practice or Office Manager who look after the day‑to‑day running and will report to you. Key Responsibilities Operational leadership: Ensure Managers are running the day‑to‑day multi‑site clinic operations effectively with setting and communicating clear. Financial performance: Workforce and session optimisation, cost control, and revenue improvement (Medicare/MBS integrity, gap fees, debtors). Digital & automation: Lead practical digitisation (Analytics dashboards, Power Automate/AI‑enabled workflows) that reduce admin and errors. Quality, risk & accreditation: Ensure compliance with RACGP Standards, privacy, OHS, infection control, incident management, and continuous improvement. People & culture: Workforce planning, assist with recruitment, leadership development, and a high‑accountability, supportive culture. Growth & partnerships: Capacity planning, new services, referral pathways, local marketing, and community partnerships aligned to our mission. Governance & reporting: Board‑ready reporting, policy frameworks, vendor management, and robust SOPs across sites. About You Senior leadership (in healthcare would be desirable) across multi‑site operations. Demonstrated results lifting access, quality, and unit economics. Strong financial and data literacy; confident with KPIs and workforce modelling. Calm, credible communicator who builds trust with doctors, managers, and admin teams.
