One of our Clients is seeking to engage Lead Communication Manager at Canberra location. Role: Lead Communication Manager Location of work: Canberra, ACT Length of contract: 12 months + 18 months of extension Security clearance: Baseline security cleared. Job Description Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reports, briefs, and corporate documents. Proven ability to translate complex, technical, or operational detail into clear, logical, and persuasive narratives for a variety of audiences. Confidence in engaging with senior staff and subject matter experts to seek clarity, negotiate content, and provide advice. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to producing well-researched and evidence-based work. Demonstrated ability to understand the link between program activities and strategic objectives. An analytical mindset, with the ability to synthesise information from various sources to form a coherent and insightful picture of program performance. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build trust and rapport with program delivery teams and technical experts. A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals. Experience with writing in a government context is desirable.
