As Manager, Portfolio & Benefits, you’ll be right at the heart of how we plan and deliver our transformation. You’ll bring clarity to our portfolio, make sure we’re investing in the right things, and help leaders stay focused on what will make the biggest impact.You’ll guide how we govern change, track value, and prioritise work while helping lift capability across the business so the way we plan and deliver continues to get better. In a Typical Day You Will Get Involved In Keeping our governance approach on track by maintaining a simple, consistent hybrid framework that supports both Agile and Waterfall ways of working. Understanding how the portfolio is performing from risks and resourcing to value and progress and giving leaders the insights they need to make confident decisions. Helping shape prioritisation and investment conversations, making sure we’re backing the right work at the right time. Working closely with delivery and business leaders to align plans, solve problems early, and build shared accountability for outcomes. Managing budgets, forecasts and risks so resources are used well, and delivery remains on track. Providing clear, meaningful reporting that highlights progress, issues, and opportunities to strengthen how we operate. About You You’re someone who can walk into a transitioning portfolio and quickly bring structure, and clarity. You know how to work with senior leaders, spot what needs attention, and keep momentum going You’ll Have Experience in a PMO or portfolio setting, with a good handle on governance, financials, benefits and resource planning. Comfort working across Agile and traditional delivery Exposure to delivering business or tech projects, ideally in a complex or regulated organisation. Strong communication and stakeholder skills. You can influence, simplify complexity, and provide clear updates. Confidence leading discussions and guiding outcomes with senior stakeholders. The ability to juggle competing priorities while staying calm and organised. A collaborative approach, you work well with others and help create momentum.
