Digital Canberra is seeking an experienced senior procurement and commercial professional to join the Strategic Sourcing team in the Strategic Sourcing and Portfolio Management Branch. Director Planning and Commercial is responsible for ensuring that procurements are planned effectively, and that contracts deliver the most efficient outcomes to the ACT Government. The role includes the management and supervision of all the Digital Canberra procurement specialists and is supported by a Senior Director. Eligibility/Other Requirements This position requires a current ACT Government Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain and hold one. If you are not successful in obtaining a Security clearance, your employment in the role will not commence. If already commenced, your employment will be terminated. Diploma in Government Procurement is highly desirable. Note that there is a requirement to attain a minimum of a Certificate 4 in Procurement within 12 months if not already held. Qualifications in law or contract management are highly desirable.
