ABOUT THE ROLE Chemcouriers Adelaide is an integral part of the Mainfreight family. We have uniquely combined our experience and processes to create a hazardous goods transport solution that proactively addresses changing compliance laws. We are currently seeking a new team member to join the Operations Team, which is the backbone of our business, based at the purpose built site in Regency Park. The role will be varied depending on the day's challenges. Still, most importantly, you will be involved in the day-to-day loading of our customers’ freight to multiple interstate destinations. You will also be required to liaise and work with the Mainfreight Operations team and various Mainfreight loaders on to ensure that our valued customers' freight is loaded on the date of receipt in the most efficient and profitable manner. You will be joining a small team of multitasking superstars seeking to expand a relatively young brand in the Australian market. With the branch still in a growth phase, there is great future opportunity for team members to have bright and varied career paths within the business. The ideal candidates will have current work experience in the transport sector, or if not, you can enthusiastically demonstrate how your experience matches the job during the interview process. Of course, any experience and knowledge in the handling or transporting of dangerous and hazardous goods would be a great but not essential as comprehensive training will be given. Our team members all demonstrate a daily commitment to becoming “specialists in hazardous goods distribution”. More than anything, we seek people who can tell us about their work ethic, dependability, focus on a time-sensitive task and taking the initiative to solve a tricky problem and help others out.
