Overview South Morang Motor Group, a leading automotive dealership and part of the Tony White Group, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Sales Manager (New Vehicles) to join their dynamic team in South Morang, VIC. As the Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of the new vehicle sales operation, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business. Key responsibilities Assist the Sales Manager in overseeing and leading the new vehicle sales team, ensuring they are motivated, trained and operating at peak performance Actively participate in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve ambitious targets Provide guidance and mentorship to sales consultants, helping them enhance their skills and deliver exceptional customer experiences Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies Contribute to the overall leadership and direction of the sales team as part of the management group What we0e looking for Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales management or supervisory role within the automotive industry Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing team In-depth understanding of new vehicle sales processes, inventory management and customer service best practices Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations What we offer South Morang Motor Group is committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
