Cyber Security Projects & Governance Officer (Contract) Adelaide CBD | ASO5 Equivalent | Initial 6-Month Contract + Extension Option | Start Date: ASAP | $60/hr + Super Are you an experienced project coordinator or governance officer looking to step further into the cyber security space? This role offers the opportunity to support whole-of-government cyber uplift initiatives, working within a supportive team focused on policy, strategy, and governance improvements. We’re partnering with a large SA-based organisation to bring on a Cyber Security Projects & Governance Officer for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension to 12 months. About the Role In this role, you’ll support the cyber security strategy, policy and engagement functions across a major organisation. Your work will help uplift cyber maturity, improve governance, and ensure effective coordination between key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Tracking and monitoring governance activities, policy review cycles, and cyber uplift initiatives Reviewing, updating, and maintaining cyber security policies and documentation Coordinating workshops, meetings and project activities across a range of internal stakeholders Supporting the implementation of a whole-of-organisation cyber security strategy Preparing reports and consolidating information from stakeholders Providing executive officer support to governance committees, including minute-taking and agenda preparation What We’re Looking For We’re seeking candidates with 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally across: Cyber governance, ICT governance, risk, policy, compliance, PMO or project coordination Executive officer / governance administration support Stakeholder coordination across multiple business areas Strong documentation and reporting skills You will be successful in this role if you are: Highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing competing priorities Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders Experienced in policy and document review Confident in facilitating meetings and producing high-quality governance artefacts Other Requirements Candidate Summary, CV and referee details required for submission AGSVA Baseline or NV1 clearance may be required after commencement (support will be provided) Remuneration $60 per hour + Super How to Apply Apply now with your CV and a brief Cover Letter of your relevant experience.
