What you’ll do As a Data Governance and Privacy Manager in our Risk and Assurance team you’ll: Support genU regulatory compliance. Lead the organisation’s privacy function, overseeing privacy-related inquiries, complaints, and breach notifications, including reporting to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, NDIA, ASD and other relevant bodies. Lead internal privacy audits and ensure alignment with APP principles and audit recommendations. What you’ll bring Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in privacy, data governance, data management, corporate records management or related field Strong understanding of Australian privacy legislation (e.g., APPs, OAIC guidelines) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience building strong value-driven relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels. Critical thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.) Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science or related field Experience leading cross-functional governance programs Familiarity with data architecture, analytics platforms, and master data management Why you’ll love working at genU At genU, our differences make us stronger.
