Key Responsibilities Be a fun, friendly, and passionate brand ambassador for Black Star Pastry — connecting with customers and delivering standout service as we welcome both first‑timers and long‑time loyal fans to the BSP Westfield Burwood experience. Have thorough knowledge of all product offerings — from our world‑famous cakes to savoury items and drinks — including ingredients, allergens, and pricing, so you can confidently guide customers through their choices. Confidently make recommendations, anticipate customer preferences, and create a personalised, memorable experience with every interaction. Serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee, teas, and house‑made drinks — ensuring each one is crafted with precision, consistency, and care. Stay up to date with relevant Food Safety certifications, and always follow best practices in both front‑of‑house and café operations.
