Local Host Mothers Day Classic Bundaberg 2026 Mother's Day Classic Foundation – Bundaberg QLD Join a passionate community making Mother's Day more meaningful The Mothers Day Classic Foundation is looking for Local Hosts to bring people together for a fun run and walk in your area on Sunday, 10 May 2026. As the Local Host, you’ll take the lead in planning and coordinating your local event, supported every step of the way by the national MDC team. You’ll unite your community, encourage participation, and help raise vital funds for breast and ovarian cancer research. Key Responsibilities Coordinate event logistics and volunteer teams Engage with local councils, community groups, and sponsors Promote your event within the community Create a safe, fun, and inclusive atmosphere on event day Benefits Be part of a national cause that has raised over $50.3 million for breast and ovarian cancer research Build leadership, organisation, and community engagement skills Connect with local networks and make new friends Make a tangible difference while having fun Join the Mothers Day Classic family and turn your passion for community into impact Category: Health Commitment: Regular – less than 6 months Type Of Work: Fundraising & Events, Marketing, Media & Communications Time Required: Flexible hours from January to May 2026, including Mother's Day (Sunday 10 May 2026). Approximately 24 hours per week, increasing closer to the event. Training: Full training and ongoing support provided by the Mothers Day Classic Foundation.
