Business Development Manager Fire safety - Healthcare Job Title: Fire Safety & Operations Manager Location: NSW About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fire Safety & Operations Manager to join a dynamic, safety-focused organisation. In this role, you will oversee fire safety compliance, operational management, and team leadership across multiple healthcare and aged care facilities. You’ll lead and develop staff, manage contractors, and implement programs that protect people and property while ensuring regulatory compliance in a healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor fire safety officers and operational staff across hospital and aged care facilities. Develop, review, and maintain fire safety procedures, emergency manuals, and training programs tailored for healthcare and aged care settings. Ensure all fire systems, essential services, and equipment are tested, maintained, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations. Conduct fire safety audits, risk assessments, and provide corrective action recommendations specific to hospitals and aged care environments. Oversee contractors and vendors, managing scopes of work, budgets, and performance. Provide expert advice during fire incidents and support emergency response initiatives within healthcare and aged care settings. Maintain compliance documentation and prepare reports for internal and regulatory purposes. Manage operational budgets, P&L, and project delivery. About You Proven experience in fire safety management within hospitals, healthcare, or aged care facilities . Strong leadership and team management skills. Hands‑on knowledge of fire systems, emergency response procedures, and relevant legislation. Ability to mentor staff and deliver training programs. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Experience managing contractors, budgets, and operational workflows. Qualifications in fire safety, WHS, or relevant areas preferred (e.g., TAE Cert IV, Fire Safety Certification).
