Join our dedicated team and be a part of our sweet success story Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook to join our dynamic team at Cheesecake Shop Southport. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for producing high‑quality cakes and pastry products, ensuring every creation meets our exceptional standards. Key Responsibilities Knead, mature, cut, mold, mix, and shape dough and pastry goods. Prepare a variety of cake and pastry fillings. Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times. Oversee the entire cake and pastry production process, ensuring efficiency and quality control. Glaze buns and pastries and decorate cakes using cream, icing, and other techniques. Operate baking machines and equipment safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct quality control of raw materials and accurately weigh ingredients. Ensure proper stock rotation of ingredients and monitor expiration dates of perishable products. Collaborate with the team to coordinate production and delivery of orders. Provide excellent customer service and address any customer queries about our products. Minimum Qualifications A minimum of 3 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within a bakery or cheesecake shop environment. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.
