Ensure the quality and consistency of all baked goods, paying close attention to detail. Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to plan production schedules and manage inventory. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Contribute to the development of new pastry recipes and menu items, staying updated on industry trends and customer preferences. Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance baking skills and knowledge. Assist with the packaging and presentation of baked goods for retail and wholesale distribution. Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a pastry cook or baker, with a focus on laminated doughs and traditional pastry techniques. Strong knowledge of baking ingredients, equipment, and techniques, with an emphasis on croissant production. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume production setting, while maintaining quality and consistency. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, with a commitment to upholding these practices in the workplace. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse team members.
