Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, including cakes, biscuits, and specialty items. Ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products, maintaining high standards of taste and presentation. Check the cleanliness of equipment and premises before production to comply with health and safety regulations. Weigh and prepare ingredients accurately for various recipes. Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times, ensuring optimal results. Coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, and cooling of pastry products, ensuring efficient workflow. Empty, clean, and grease baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. Requirements Minimum qualification: Cert III in Patisserie or above. At least two years of relevant experience as a Pastry Cook or Baker. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredient functionality. Ability to follow recipes and company standards precisely. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
