Behaviour Therapist/Early Intervention Specalist The Early Intervention Specialist will deliver high-quality, play-based Behaviour Therapy services to children and their families. Working as a sub-contractor, the practitioner will support children with developmental, behavioural, or social-emotional needs to build functional skills, increase independence, and enhance overall wellbeing. The role requires a child-centred, evidence-informed approach that fosters collaborative relationships with families and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Provide behaviour therapy sessions using play-based, strengths-focused, and developmentally appropriate methods. Conduct assessments, develop behaviour support strategies, and implement tailored intervention plans aligned with NDIS goals. Monitor progress, adjust strategies as required, and maintain accurate session notes and documentation. Collaborate with families, carers, and allied health professionals to ensure consistent therapeutic support across environments. Offer parent and caregiver coaching to support continuity of skill development. Adhere to NDIS Practice Standards, child‑safety guidelines, and organisational policies. Manage caseload, scheduling, and reporting requirements as an independent contractor. Qualifications Qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Behaviour Support, Allied Health, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in early intervention and play‑based behaviour therapy. Strong understanding of child development, behaviour principles, and family‑centred practice. Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive rapport with children and caregivers. Current Working with Vulnerable Persons Card. #J-18808-Ljbffr
