Payroll Officer | Vision Radiology Group The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely payment of Vision Radiology Group employees while maintaining compliance with employment agreements, relevant tax laws, and associated regulations. The position also encompasses a range of administrative, data management, and query-resolution responsibilities, working closely with the broader Finance team and other departments to support smooth payroll operations across the Group. This role offers a unique opportunity for a passionate payroll professional to join a leading, multi-state medical imaging organisation and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll workflows, reporting processes, and system efficiencies. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing: Administer the end-to-end payroll process for Vision Radiology Group employees across multiple entities and states. Data Management: Maintain and update payroll information, including new hires, terminations, leave, and other employment changes. Compliance: Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with the Health Professionals & Support Services Award (HPSS Award), Enterprise Agreements, and relevant legislation. Quality Assurance: Validate payroll system calculations, including superannuation, tax, and leave accruals. Reporting: Prepare and distribute payslips, payment summaries, and payroll reports for management, finance, and audit purposes. Query Resolution: Manage the dedicated Payroll Inbox and act as the primary contact for all payroll-related queries, ensuring timely and professional communication. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employment records. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with legislative and award changes, implementing updates and process improvements as required. About You You are an experienced payroll professional with a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and a solid grasp of award interpretation, tax obligations, and superannuation requirements. Your understanding of complex workforce structures that include full-time, part-time and casual employees across multiple locations enables you to deliver consistent, compliant and reliable payroll outcomes.
