The Role This important role within the Community Occupational Therapy team supports Occupational Therapists in the delivery of patient‑centred care. You will assist clients in achieving their goals by providing tailored in‑home support, equipment set‑up, falls prevention, and fatigue management education. Additionally, you will support therapeutic activities, document progress notes, and collaborate with the Occupational Therapist in client assessments and reviews. Assist with the daily functioning of Allied Health Professional (AHP) services. Undertake tasks under the direction of AHPs, supporting clients in their homes and in other community settings. Details of Appointment Permanent part‑time day worker position, 33 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Salary $67,193 to $72,126 pro rata per annum, plus 12% superannuation contribution. Salary range is in accordance with the Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award. Eligibility Certificate IV in Health Service Assistance (Allied Health Assistance) or equivalent qualification. Tertiary student of a relevant allied health course at a recognised institution.
