Join to apply for the CG Supervisor role at DNEG Overview At DNEG, our CG Supervisors are the glue that holds a large part of projects together. They are vital to the delivery of our shows, and we rely on them to successfully complete all projects. It is their responsibility to interpret and implement the creative aims of the Director/VFX Supervisors within budget. Responsibilities Oversee a team of artists as they produce CG assets, set up a working shot pipeline, and deliver CG elements for shots on your project. Provide technical and creative leadership for the team and maintain clear communication between artists, the production team, and show leads/supervisors. Contribute to bidding and crewing for the project, offering feedback on crew and pipeline improvements when asked. Must Have Experience as a CG Supervisor or Sequence Supervisor working on high end live action VFX work Excellent creative eye and aesthetic judgement Experience interpreting clients' vision and relaying that to your internal team of artists Ability to sell a creative solution and idea to clients Ability to reduce complex problems to their simplest solutions Thorough understanding of the complete VFX pipeline Strong history of collaborating with R&D teams and the ability to provide, test and deploy new tool specifications in a production environment Ability to meet deadlines under pressure Expert in Maya and proficient in other industry standard software About You Excellent communicator Recognised attention to detail and organisational skills Proven team leader with strong motivational qualities and initiative Technically and creatively astute Highly organised Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries Animation and Post-production Movies, Videos, and Sound #J-18808-Ljbffr
