The successful candidate will be offered a contract until 30 June 2026 with 2 x 12-month extension options and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Technical Lead / Software Engineering Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to: Owning and communicating the technical strategy for supported products from design through BAU support Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and oversight of software development (.NET and Angular) Supporting the team in resolving technical blockers and serving as the escalation point for decisions Driving continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to frameworks, governance, and best practices The successful Technical Lead / Software Engineering Lead will have experience in the following: Strong stakeholder engagement and professional relationship management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven software development experience in .NET and Angular Experience developing technical documentation, guides, designs, and architectural artefacts This is a great opportunity within a Federal Government Department to join a supportive team and deliver impactful outcomes The successful Technical Lead / Software Engineering Lead will be offered a contract until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extensions and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
