About the Opportunity Are you a project engineer seeking a change? We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer looking for a new challenge by combining civil and marine work, tackling a variety of unique projects, and owning the critical early stages of every project. You’ll be working across a range of marine and dredging projects throughout the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay region including Maroochydore, Bribie Island, and Caloundra. This is a Sunshine Coast-based role, not a FIFO position, but it does involve regular travel to project sites. Your Responsibilities Lead the planning and delivery of marine civil works, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time and within budget Manage subcontractors, crews and marine plant operations, ensuring compliance with specifications and maritime regulations Oversee project scheduling, forecasting, cost control and progress reporting Provide technical guidance on designs, methodologies and marine construction challenges, resolving issues on site Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers and site teams About You Bachelor’s degree qualified in Civil Engineering, or similar Earthworks and civil construction experience is required Previous experience on marine construction or dredging projects is highly regarded but not required Strong commitment to delivering high-quality results Ability to develop alternative solutions and options for improved project delivery An individual who is comfortable working closely with client & internal stakeholders to achieve a win-win result The Benefits Competitive salary package + fully-maintained vehicle A pipeline of ongoing work across the Sunshine Coast region Work on a variety of meaningful community-benefiting projects Supportive, motivated organisational culture Permanent, long-term role with genuine career progression Sunshine Coast-based with regular travel to local sites (not FIFO) All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
