Bakery / Pastry Chef: Multi-Site Role

We are looking for an energetic Baker or Pastry Chef interested in working across our 3 locations at Ourimbah, Heatherbrae and the Southern Highlands in a hands‑on support role. We are an iconic Australian, family‑owned bakery business and are proud to have a friendly, professional and supportive culture in our bakery team across each of our locations. Handcrafting delicious, freshly made and baked pies, sausage rolls and other treats with passion and care, served in a friendly, efficient environment that blends modern convenience with classic Australian heritage. Key Points Multi‑Site support role across 3 locations Locations: Heatherbrae (Newcastle & Hunter Region, NSW), Ourimbah (Central Coast) and Sutton Forest (Southern Highlands) Accommodation provided when travelling to our Sutton Forest bakery Full‑Time: 5 days a week, with weekend work required (salary will factor in weekend availability) Roster: Fixed roster with 2 consecutive days off Salary will depend on experience and availability Do you have? Qualifications (Cert III) or trade experience equivalent in a fast‑paced retail bakery The ability to drive long distances and be away from home 1‑2 nights a week A valid licence and access to a reliable car While experience with pies isn't necessary, a flexible & adaptive hands‑on approach with a willingness to learn and develop your skills is a must A respectful & professional communication style with a friendly personality and the ability to fit into multiple team environments and work with a range of ages and experience levels Proven ability to work unsupervised, when required These important qualities: reliability, dedication, good communication and a high care‑factor Tasks and responsibilities Work alongside and support the Bakery Managers in the successful day to day production and running of the bakeries. Prepare quality products following our recipes & yield guidelines according to set standards. Maintain a safe work environment in relation to OHS/WHS and food safety & hygiene.
