Senior Cloud Engineer

Due to an internal movement, EDMI are on the lookout for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our EDMI Energy Cloud Operations team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer in our team, you will ensure our cloud and physical environments are operationally supported and validated as the solution offering expands. You’ll work closely with developers, solution consultants, and our customer experience team—applying a DevOps mindset and collaborating in an agile environment to deliver outstanding results. We are seeking a motivated and collaborative professional who is passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and guiding junior team members. Strong communication skills, proactive ownership of responsibilities, and the ability to mentor others are essential. Key Responsibilities Provide pre- and post-sales product support for EDMI’s cloud. Managing operational queries, service requests, incidents, and problems. Building and deploying infrastructure in Azure using infrastructure-as-code. Maintaining resources, IAM, cost optimisations, and security best‑practice in Azure. Aligning to the Azure Well‑Architected Framework. Managing databases in collaboration with developers and architects. Collaborate with cross‑functional, international teams to deliver reliable, secure cloud solutions. Participate in an on‑call roster, responding to incidents after hours, weekends, and public holidays. Other relevant duties as reasonably directed by your Manager and EDMI. What We’re Looking For Have 5+ years of enterprise experience with Azure (or equivalent platforms). Possess a relevant qualification in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Science Engineering or equivalent industry certifications. Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems and Azure platform services. Demonstrate experience with Windows and Linux environments, Bash, Git, and agile methodologies. Show familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform). Have proven ability to take end‑to‑end ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
