Role Details We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead our underground technical team and support the continued success and longevity of our Broken Hill mine. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals including mining engineers, geologists, surveyors, and ventilation officers. Oversee the preparation of mine plans, schedules, and designs to achieve production and business targets. Provide technical input into life‑of‑mine planning and operational decision‑making. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, and company policies. Foster collaboration between operations, maintenance, and technical teams to optimise performance. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost management. What You Will Bring You are a collaborative leader with a strong technical background in underground mining. You bring a balance of operational experience and strategic vision, with the ability to influence outcomes and inspire your team. To be successful, you will have Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related discipline. Extensive experience in underground hard rock mining (preferably base metals). Demonstrated leadership experience in managing technical services teams. Strong knowledge of mine planning, design, and scheduling. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
