SURFACE MAINTENANCE - ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join a team that values collaboration and teamwork. About the role This residential position works a 7/7 roster rotating days and nights working 12 hours per shift. The primary purpose of this position is to safely maintain all surface electrical infrastructure contained within the operating areas of the Fosterville Gold Mine in accordance with site and regulatory standards. Ensures all electrical works undertaken at the Fosterville Gold Mine is completed in accordance with Energy Safe Victoria requirements which includes the Electrical Safety Act 1998, Electrical Safety (General) Regulations 2019 and the minimum requirements of all applicable Australian Standards. The successful candidate should possess the following: Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence Familiarity with mineral processing plants and associated fixed plant maintenance practices. Knowledge of Electrical Safety Act, Installation Regulations and applicable Australian Standards relating to Electrical Installations and Equipment. Ability to interpret electrical schematics. Exposure to High Voltage Operating and Switching Systems, Instrumentation, Automation Control and HMI Visualisation Systems desirable WorkSafe High Risk Licences including Forklift, Dogging and Elevated Work Platform. Basic level of proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (PRONTO and Obzervr) What we offer Competitive salary offered in line with the relevant classification contained in the Fosterville Enterprise Agreement.
