Your role will rotate across a range of clinical and dispensary teams while contributing to improved patient outcomes and operational excellence. Provide structured clinical pharmacy services to designated practice areas Review, dispense, compound and check medications to support timely therapy Support pharmacy support staff to ensure safe and efficient medication supply Evaluate and optimise patient medication therapy using evidence‑based practice Contribute to departmental education, quality use of medicines and research Application Instructions Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date. Essential Criteria Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by tertiary education institutions e.g. Bachelor of Pharmacy Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist registration with AHPRA Selection Criteria Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (or eligible for registration within 3 months of commencement). Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award and are expected to continually demonstrate achievement of at least three of the five listed competencies within the Award. Demonstrated effective clinical drug knowledge and competence in its application to achieve safe and efficient quality of care. Well‑developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and other stakeholders to improve patient care and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with limited supervision to meet team objectives. Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a complex workload, problem solving and development and implementation of initiatives. Proven commitment to professional development, continuing education and pharmacy research, including membership of a professional pharmacy association, preferably the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA). Maintained ability to rotate across WSLHD sites, participate in flexible working hours, on‑call, afterhours, weekend and public holiday work as required.
