GetCareers is looking for motivated school leavers to begin a Boilermaking Apprenticeship An exciting opportunity to learn practical skills, work with experienced tradespeople, and earn a nationally recognised trade qualification - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking / welding) You'll get paid while you learn gain valuable industry experience, and build a strong foundation for a long‑term career in the manufacturing and engineering industry. Location : Naval Base Employment Type : Full-time (5 days per week, 38 hours standard) Term of Apprenticeship : 4 years About the Role Shape, join, and repair metal components for machinery, equipment, metal structures, and other fabricated products. Lay out, cut, and form metals accurately to meet precise specifications. Operate and maintain a range of welding tools and techniques safely and effectively. Learn how to read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts with precision. Gain hands‑on, on‑site experience working alongside skilled tradespeople. What We're Looking For Physically capable of performing hands‑on work. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic. Reliable, punctual, and motivated to develop new skills through an apprenticeship. Able to work effectively in a team and follow instructions. Committed to completing the full term of the apprenticeship while working full‑time. Eligibility Criteria Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Must reside in the Southern suburbs of the Perth Metropolitan Area due to job location. Must have a Valid Driver's Licence.
